bird flew h5n1 sigh ops in the news again.. i'm scared.. hold me..

@n0s1r I think its just a scare tactic. I'm even having doubts to it's existence. I mean, it was flu season, and people can die from the regular flu. more people are probably going to die from the flu in the next seasons. the only difference here is that someone actually reported on it in the news. on a related note, ADD also does not exist. it just fucking doesnt.

@TheCaptainLulz you didn't read, your point was already addressed before you even made it.
What you are looking for is a soothsayer. Sorry kiddo, but those aren't real.
-
Swine Flu is cured, so its extinct! >:D

@n0s1r great, so hes set up a system where he can make it look like hes never wrong. Laud the correct and bury the bad. Thats the thing with paranoia, It comes with built in defense mechanisms like that.

@somegreybloke Some us get very active indeed, just with meaningless activities like ripping flu masks and gloves off the shelves as fast as possible and being ever vigilant for anybody with the slightest cough, which is frankly a lot more lively than the average self-murdered person.
My take on all forms of disinformation such as "fear mongering". I hope it never stops until the lie is recognized as the truth a liar can't help but tell every time he speaks, which is simply "I am lying".
-
@somegreybloke I leave the whole question of "define positive" for another time, right now I will just do my best to make you aware of the MASSIVE failure of communication between your eyes and brain that caused you to pretty much drive your point of a cliff into an abyss of group think and annihilation of the self.
"Don't all scare tactics just result in people huddling in fear, semi-paralysed?" The answer is NO. Some of us aren't afraid of information.

@TheCaptainLulz since you can't seem to piece it together I will just explain to you WHY Alex Jones (and others like him) generally dislike to address previous failed predictions.... HE NEVER EXPECTED TO GET THEM ALL CORRECT IN THE FIRST PLACE, but he ALSO understands his remedial allies and his cheating enemy BOTH DO.
His allies as a means of validation, his enemy as a means to discredit. Two sides of the same coin.
-
@TheCaptainLulz OF COURSE Alex Jones calls possible moves that never actually happen. The MAJORITY of the calls I have personally heard him make never happened, and no, I don't buy that bullshit people spew about "well see, they were gonna.. But because Alex called it they held back". That may be true in some cases but if you really think that is the real reason behind EVERY failed prediction you are a fucking idiot, end of story.
-
@TheCaptainLulz your opponent has no qualms about about taking as many moves a turn as he can get away with, and not only by moving his pieces, he'll move yours too. Hell, if possible he will take your pieces, sloppily paint them black, and claim they were his all along.
Against an opponent like that it is essentially IMPOSSIBLE to predict what his next move(s) will be, so the only LOGICAL approach is to try to account for the most likely scenarios.
Just to put it out there.
Alex Jones said the swine flu COULD be a biological weapon based on the fact that cross species influenza strains are RARE and it's almost statistically impossible for another one to pop up so close to the whole bird flu scare.
Alex Jones also said that it COULD just be ANOTHER scare tactic to keep the public huddling in fear, which it did quite effectively.

@n0s1r That raises an interesting point: governments, the media and Alex Jones types are all engaged in scaremongering (but for different reasons). I wonder if the fear of global fascism encouraged by Jones etc has any more positive effect on people than the fear of terrorism or rampant disease.
Don't all scare tactics just result in people huddling in fear, semi-paralysed?

@somegreybloke pretty sure this is against Alex's goals.
also wat do u mean by 'different reasons'?
dokha 1 year ago
@dokha Profit, fame, power. What do you think Jones's goals are?

@somegreybloke i think Alex Jones' tactic is to tell you the scary truth and hopefully you will get angry enough to do something about it

@jackvincent90 Does Alex Jones ever give any advice on what exactly we should do about it?
