Hi, what method work best to handle 2s 5000mah lipo? I think it will be the cinderblock and sandbag lid, isn't it? and how big will the 5000mah lipo explode vs the 3s 1500mah on the test?
Actually depending on the size of your lipo, your ammo can will rupture violently if the lipo burnt. These tests you see were done with low mah batteries. There has been tests on ammo cans with higher capacity batteries that ruptured the ammo can and resulted in a large fireball.
I had an 8 cell 1800 MAH airsoft battery go off in a Lipo Sack last night, and damn does that kevlar bag work!

I've always wondered if my ammo can would rupture violently if the LiPo ever burnt. Now I know it will hold up. Thanks!

Thank you for doing and posting these tests. Very informative!
I will stay with Li-Ion FePO4 cells. Though heavier than LiPos but much-much safer.
Thank you!
