Minecraft Ideas - Fast Efficient Farm

This farm design is intended for the following benefits:
1) Fast crop growth
2) Protection from trampling
3) Full visibility (You always know when your crops are ready)
4) Easy harvest/replanting
5) Local supply storage

NOTE: It is possible to have an automated farm, which I will show in a later video, but this design is intended for speed and ease.

@FirestoneX True, trampling is not a problem anymore, but the wiki has a way to calculate efficiency (Look up "wheat farming" in the wiki), and even though this is not the most efficient farm in the world, its more efficient than a field of wheat. And what do you mean by "as a roll of 4"?

There is no point in this design since trampling is not a factor anymore, and is not as efficiant as a roll of 4.

In 1.1, you can't trample crops unless you jump on them. Luckily, I built an automatic one but didn,t make a video about it.
