You didn't read the stand assembnly instructions did you? Your shipping crate arrived in a lot better shape than mine, I think SAIA tossed it down a cliff. Did you remove the paint where the table trunion mounts? Paint don't make good shims.

Hi,

I am interested in buying my first band saw. I am looking at either a Jet 12 inch band saw, a delta 12 inch or a grizzly 14 in 3/4 horsepower bandsaw. It will mainly see light use. Thanks for the advice.

@dgmunch I got the bandsaw and love it. Much nicer to use than my jig saw. I am very glad I opted for a 14 inch saw. I really like the resaw capacity.

@MrDanthefisherman1 I own this very same saw and I love it. Just one thing, don't try to use the blade that comes with it in the box. It's only there for shipping purposes. I learned this the hard way and there wasn't much said in the instructions on this. For someone who never owned a bandsaw, I was lost for a bit. But now with a new blade it runs great.
