@nubonyx That's because record companies have no interest in promoting truly talented musicians. They want the quick buck. That's why music today is so disposable. A song becomes popular and then 2 or 3 months down the road nobody gives a shit about it anymore and it's just tossed aside like a piece of crap (which it is).

Duke Ellington said it best: "The popularity of it doesn't matter, doesn't mean anything, because when you get into popularity then you're talking about money and not music."
