I have a 88 Comache , for some reason...The lights refuse to go off , so I have to disconnet the battery. this sucks. anyone ever had this happen? Help!!

They made two bed lengths. My Comanche is a long bed. They didn't make a short bed one until 87 I think. If I remember correctly, the bed on mine is 7'6". It's longer than my short bed Silverado!

thanks dude, but i gotta get something with a longer bed cuz i race and ride dirt bikes so ive been saving for a chevy pickup. possibly a couple more years into the future and ill buy a used commanche. still working on a 1977 Trans Am and a 69 Dodge Charger too, though. Once again, nice jeep. Jeep rules.

Go get yourself a Comanche! They're super cheap and sweet! Plus there are tons of enthusiasts out there working on them so there is a lot of info out there to help you with a project truck. Good luck!
What is a good price?

This one is an 86 2.5L gas 4 cylinder with an AX4 4 speed manual. No power steering and no A/C. I think if I were looking to buy one I'd expect to pay between $1000 and $1500. I wouldn't sell mine for less than $2500 because I love it and it has verrry low mileage. But I've seen them for sale a lot cheaper.
