I if it was plugged into the USB and all you had on it was the audio files it can read, I don't see why not.

you can control the music through the ipod if you want right? im having mine connect thru the back and mounted on my dash and im wanting to choose music thru my ipod instead of the deck, i can do this right? (while it charges too?)

Yes you will be able to control your iPod.

But only If you use the headphone jack.

Honestly I've never tried to control the iPod wile it was plugged in to the data/power jack.

From what I can tell every time you plug in the data/power jack it starts charging.

this head unit is the shit. i just ordered the Premier version! i cant wait to install it.. Finally a equalizer to tune my Focal comps!
