I reckon this has been modded, two reasons. 1. I've spent hours attempting to get that jump from the ledge to the moving platform beam emitter, it's just not happening. 2. So sure it may be possible if you are extremely lucky, but the is no way your going to be able to do it in one go like in this vid.

There are others on this video who have called shenanigans, I'm adding my voice to that.

@andyfrogman I'm not sure what you mean by modded. But I'm NOT doing it in just 1 go without fails. I failed lots of times, so therefor I used save/load. Would have gone crazy trying to do a flawless run. I'm just showing how it is done. And the difficult jump you speak of, I do hope you have tried to crouch jump, cause that's what has to be done to make the leap.

What am I doing wrong on the jump to the moving platform? I've been trying to do it for a few hours now.

You just gotta jump from the edge ;) it's tight.

Dunno if you can get there by jumping on the block pieces on the wall, never tried.

For those who are in trouble jumping from the door to that platform.... just spent 1 hour trying... then i tryied Jump (realy realy close from the edge) then hold Ctrl to crouch and Im easily there...

@underscore1337xD Chuck Norris doesn't need any portals at all... if Chuck Norris wants to go somewhere and there's a wall in the way, he just makes the wall move :P

@sl9sl9 I found the energy ball pretty easy. It's the jump that's near impossible. I did discover that it's a hell of a lot easier to jump to the platform it's self than try to jump to the hub.

@tyroxi By modded I mean that you altered the distance that you can jump in the developers panel. However, I have discovered that it's so much easier to just wait and jump onto the moving platform when it docks. I spent several hours attempting to jump onto the hub, but the very first time I attempted to jump on to the platform it's self I got it. I even tried it a second time to be sure and I got it again.

Spending time trying to jump to the hub is unnecessary and a waste of time.

@andyfrogman Of course you're not going to do this level in 1 go, unless you have a crazy amount of free time like this uploader apparently did (or perhaps he just got incredibly lucky). The hardest bit is directing the ball with cube, that took me around 20mins. The platform beam emitter jump is hard yes, but if you save before then it absolutely is possible!

I just did it now in about 30mins same as this video and I have not modded portal!

VERY impressive method here, it's completely LEGIT.
