Coaster: THE TIME MACHINE Freestyle Music Park Myrtle Beach SC (July 11, 2009)

This is the first and only time I rode the Time Machine and it is an excellent ride. I used a handheld Canon FS100; monitor screen closed and the lens zoomed wide open. I kept my arm raised as best I could. The ride was fast and bumpy; and the wind buffeted the camera's built-in microphones. It was risky, taking the new camera on an unknown ride without a wrist strap, but I'm glad I did. Luckily I didn't drop it or we wouldn't be here on YouTube. My thanks to the friendly employee who offered to subscribe.

From what I read on the park, they didn't open this spring. BMW filed suit because one of their rides used cars shaped like Mini Coopers. They needed to get investor to back operations and none were interested. Sounds like they were victims of the poor economy.

We enjoyed it that one time. Later the lines got too long, so we didn't go back. We did want to ride it again before we left.

this park had so much potential when it was owned by hard rock. i had season passes both years and rode this ride enough times to hear the music cut off mid ride at least 3 times. i go by it almost every weekend now and it is just sitting there along with everything else. i used to go there in summer when we would happen to be at the mall. so now i have to go to carowinds every other year.

I missed riding it this summer, as the park was closed for some oddball reason. I hope it's not already done for. :( I hope it'll come back and open back up so we can all ride the Time Machine again.....err....Led Zeppelin. LOL :)
