  • Yeah, being as it was my first successful chase, I didn't have the mindset to turn down the radio, or stop cussing for that matter.... :)

  • I watched that storm go north of me. I live in Kankakee. I took pictures of the south end of it. It was a beast. Do you know what it's EF rating was?

  • I believe it was an EF3 at one point. The damage was minimal where I saw it because it was in the country and didn't hit many houses. It could have been much worse.

  • Thanks for the comments. It was quite a scary storm. Awesome sight!!! This video was used on Fox 32 news the night after I shot it! Pro

  • acually it also went to McHenry county i saw it

  • Nothing like watching a tornado to 'I Disappear'... At least you have a good taste in music. Great job chasing this one.

  • I know! I live in Manhattan and the sirens were going off all night.

  • Nice CG with the awesome tornado seen at '04:09' and again at '05:08' and usually..most areas of the CGs/lightning are inside the 'bear's cage'' being N and E of the mesocyclone containing the tornado/wall cloud... meanwhile....this is quite an awesome live shot of such a gorgeous tornado....excellent, must-see video! ((BTW..nice thunderclap heard at the start of this video too))

  • I'm was drunk and slept through it

  • i remember this it scared the crap out of me!! i live right next where it started to touch!!! the sirens sounded for like 30 min straight!

  • I live south of Manhattan, and I remember seeing this from my pool, but I didn't care, I thought it was cool. I went inside when it started hailing though. They were the size of GOLF BALLS!!

  • i was on my first day or second day of school i live in aurora, ill

  • that was on my birthday...i didn't know it happend, lucky me...i went south for my birthday to charleston. it went by Lansing, Lynwood, and i also heard about Ritchton Park. I live close to them so..im happy...if i was him i would shit myself lol
