Working on blue belt in January. Been in a reflective mood today....

Sometimes I see really great potential in myself. I struggle a lot, but when I finally get a good grasp on something, I really internalize it. I think that the people who really struggle to get a good grasp on something are the people who really appreciate it.

It might take me 5-6 years to fully get to goal, but trust me, I'll get there.

  • We all have our personal struggles.

  • Clearly I know what good and bad food is. And what calories in vs calories out is. I was just trying to say it took me a while to master it, as in..get in control of it. And even now, I dont always make the best food quality choices. You could eat the same amount of calories, but if you eat better quality and the same amount, your body uses it more efficiently.

  • I think that life would be boring if we didn't have any struggles or hard times I am sure that you will get to be where you want to if you keep going at it, I am the same way with the weight loss thing as well.

  • You need, need, need to check out Gary Taubes' "Good Calories, Bad Calories" regarding the concept of "calories in vs. calories out"!!!!
