Animation of an old man, who takes a journey through his memories, visiting different emotions he experienced during his live. Made during my time at the school of fine arts, Utrecht.
Made with cardboard, paper and wires.

I like this but I think you could have made it more believable using stop mo, instead of moving the cardboard used different cut outs like replacement animation sort of what they do on south park, seeing the joints or stick you used distracts you from the story. But over all very powerful, love the song x

I am doing a project on animation at the moment and i am intrigued to how you have layered film and animation together. if you could tell me how and what program you used much would be appreciated.

well, actually every shot is a cardboard cut-out with coloured paper pasted on it. I used wires to make it move. sometimes (like with the close up of the man running) I wiggled the camera to suggest the movement. the only "animated" stuff is the rain wich I made with flash. Everything else was filmed with a camera. Hope that answers your question.
