@Psychedout17 I don't think Lady Gaga thinks that she's the first woman to have sexually provocative lyrics at all. I do think it's interesting you need to put female artists into some kind of false competition with each other, as if two female artists can't just separately make music that deals with sexuality without being rated against one another. Pretty sexist, actually. PJ Harvey is a great artist. Lady Gaga is also turning out to be a very relevant artist. Good for them both.
