Just an idea, why does it when I visit Sydney that the Police vehicles are still running around with lights on the top from the 80's? I mean look at QLD up to date (Low level lights on the roof) and looking professional however not when they wear shorts.

@JLBUSA85 Hello JLBUSA85 , Its up to the LAC (Local Area Command) to decide what lights are on their Police vehicles. If you visit around NSW the Police vehicle lights will alter slightly, Eg in the Chifley LAC , we use the old blue light on our unmarked hwy patrols and aswell as dash lights and side number plate lights. But I have unmarked Police cars with Fog lights with red and blue so it varies which LAC wnats to do with their vehicles

@TheNSWPoliceForce, that's very interesting to know, as I thought it was a state wide thing. Must be fun to be a copper I have thought about it alot or even AFP, after army but the Army life is way too good atm lol.
