Dave I agree with man I started coaching because my little brother wanted to play soccer. So my old club and I started talking and we agreed we where going to set up a program for 3 years and see what happened, we started this past year and I'm coaching 4 u6 teams 2boy 2girls so we when out and scouted around for players. I agree 100%. I would like to add that the heart and lungs
don't fully develop till 12 years of age until then we're anaerobic
animals. Also, attention span, U6 and even older don't have
the attention span to listen to lectures and many different
exercises for short periods.

U-6 soccer should not be soccer, it should be the beginning of a love for the soccer ball and running on the grass and smiling! Soccer comes later!
