Also, my dad bought his Blazer off the lot, and I do not think it had the posi-trac or limited slip rear (it may have been posi-traction), but with the Insta-Trac 4-wheel drive that thing was a beast in the snow. I don't know if it had a 3:08 ratio or a 3:42 ratio.

The bottom line is, whether it is a full-size K5 Blazer or a smaller S10 Blazer, or even a Jimmy, those trucks kick ass!

My dad traded it for a new 1996 Nissan Pathfinder SE which also turned out to be one of the best damn vehicles we EVER OWNED, and later became my first car when I got my license, but the Blazer had a bigger, more powerful engine and at the same time got better gas mileage on regular while the Pathfinder required premium. I loved my Pathfinder, but I would choose the Blazer any day. My dad also says that the Blazer was more fun to drive out of the two.

My dad had 1993 S10 Blazer 2-door Tahoe (not the LT, just the midlevel Tahoe), midnight black with gray cloth interior, 4-wheel drive, power everything, and air-conditioning (R-12 I might add, A/C in that Blazer blew FREEZING). Bought it brand new in June 1993 and that is where my love of Chevy trucks began. My dad let me sit in his lap once and steer it into our driveway once, when I was like 6. I loved that Blazer!

"Trucks that last" That is the best line in the whole ad. Got a 93 4 door 4x4 LT tahoe trim. 278,448 miles. Got a video of it on my channel took just yesterday if you want to watch it. but may i stress, I AM NOT PROMOTING MY VIDEO OR CHANNEL. jus sayin
