Maybe they would eat drowned corpses for long enough for a single breeding pair of their 'kind' of prey to breed enough times to become sustainable before the tigers get too old to breed... no that's not working for me either.

I'm not sure if the Bible gives a depth but I understand that the flood covered all mountain peaks, Everest is pretty big, that's quite alot more water than is on earth now, where did the water go?

@cooldog60 My friend, I think you have lived so many years in THE WORLD, a place that will pass and that is made of illusions and distractions from the REALITY, which is the Bible, God, Jesus, the eternal life. The Bible says the reality, Piper preaches according to the Bible, Piper preaches reality. Syllogistic We just lack the faith to trust the reality of the Bible sometimes, but it brings you wonders when you do! .

To hear Piper say that wisdom is not necessarily for the old is really something. It is so contrary to our culture, to think that wisdom comes not from experience but from God's grace.

You have twisted the scriptures to suit your sermon here. Proverbs 1:4 speaks of knowledge and intrigue (discretion) but you are speaking of wisdom when the verse does not.

Understanding may lead to wisdom if it so pleases the Almighty, but knowledge is the means to an end and not the end in itself.

If you must preach then open up the scriptures instead of writing essays....if you can!
