Injured baby seal harassed by the crowd and left to suffer at the Children's Pool in La Jolla. SeaWorld rescue team did not want to come and help the animal. The lifeguards refused to take any action such as putting up cones or a barrier, and instead told people that "volunteers" were handling crowd control and not to worry about it. The injured seal was nowhere to be found the next day.

  • I stopped by seal witches table Thursday as I was walking my dog, I asked if she had a permit to be their? She said I have been the for 6 years!, than I said this has been a Children's Pool for 80 years, she said times have changed, I said the city requires you to now have a permit and she said thats bogus , I said times have changed.....

  • San Diego planning commission affirmed the appeal of the year round rope barrier today, the vote was unanimous 7-0 . The rope will NOT be up year round but will go up on Dec. 15 to May 15 the rope is JUST a guide line and it is NOT illegal to cross it to access the water...Harassment of people will most likely increase!

  • La Jolla’s Children’s Pool: Two views

How about Andrea Hahn pictured in the the photo in a shouting match, she is just as bad as Dorota if not worse. she also video tapes people swimming or going on the beach and will not hesitate to put you on youtube.

The citizens of La Jolla need to attain a restraining order against these disruptive vigilantes for disturbing the peace and their uncivil actions in public within a park and scamming tourist out of their money and giving San Diego a black eye.

  • These children are learning! how to interact and play with seals, thanks to you and the amendment of the trust it is a shared use marine mammal park , parks are for the enjoyment for people... and the educational benefit for children. Thanks A.P.R.L. /

  • What happened to your video about the spearfisherman who flushed a few seals a week ago?

  • Seal World documented it. It is on their website. Since the wall created a dune, and the waterline is above the hight of the rocks, what you are saying is that the wall was there before man (because before the wall, there was no beach).

  • @pinnipedfred

Because its true pin head fred.

  • Why are the anti seal freaks telling lies at there tables that Sea World dumped rehabilitated seals there, is there any prof to these lies? The seals have been there long before man. they need to get over it and get a life.

  • Hippocrates, you change the trust for a marine mammal park for the education for children and then you don't want the children to go down and learn what fishing line does to the necks of seals when it wraps around them and slices through the blubber...

then they will learn how it dies and rots on the beach and they will no what death smell like and see all the crabs and maggots eat away the carcass...

Yes, I see now how the seal are educational for the children

  • @fsivada But they all drank the cool aid....
