thank you so much for this wonderful little documentary - just one thing upset me a little - i'd always thought that the Romans were so impressed with the ancient British war dog (old english mastiff) that they subsequently adopted and used these dogs for their own! but this documentary suggests that such dogs arrived with the Romans? I'd rather hoped they had arrived earlier... perhaps with the phonecians or heaven forbid with brutus and the trojans? i know history doesn't accept that yet lol!

Beautiful video.... Its a shame the dogs featured in the video, bare very little resemblance to those in the early illustrations.
