And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why your mutual fund portfolios haven't done squat over the past decade.

This is what the French want to do now at Timmy's advice.

I do agree with you 100%. If the government and the people get rid of the Federal Reserve banking system our economy will become substantial. America has the highest GDP than other countries; much more higher than Europe, China and Japan. If we can increase the sale tax a little and get rid of the Federal Income tax (which is unconstitutional to begin with), people would spend more thus increasing the employment rate and bring back the economy.

Just stop.
Don't invest in companies you don't know and don't understand.
Buy local food and grow some of your own.
Is there a way to tell the living standards of workers in the supply chain for a product?
I would love to have that info handy at time of purchase.

I'm sorry but maybe its time for some Stalin style purges. I'm sorry but these guys seem only interested in turning their own profit, not saving the country or even the worlds economy. There must be plenty of economist wwho will do what they were trained to do, not just make a profit into their own pocket

@SmilingJack100 You realize that, unlike the Supreme Court, the Fed basically decides who CAN be appointed. They make the list of potential appointees for Congress to go appoint. This list includes themselves and their buddies, all of whom are involved in this huge mess.
-
@TheZinerd Yes, and that's why the president is elected, what of it?
-
@SmilingJack100 but the reason the president is elected and accountable because if it was the other way around, we would be a dictatorship
A nice summary of where our brain dead "leaders" have taken us. The FED is an unelected unaccountable entity that should be eliminated immediately. While the roots of our financial problems are multi, the "tap root" is the presence of the FED. As a first step to restructuring our financial system, the FED needs to go.
