Chapter 2: The Royal Arch Legend

I suggest that the individuals who designed DC are the same people that helped form the Scottish Rites and move it there.

I also suggest that the symbolism in the map and great seal derive from the Royal Arch and not from Craft Masonry.

  • The Royal Arch is not "the crown jewel of Masonry," the Grand Lodge is as it governs everything within its jurisdiction. The Royal Arch isn't even "the crown jewel" of the appendant body to which it belongs. The Council of Cryptic Masons and the Commandery of the Knights Templar are bother higher up on the York Rite ladder than the Royal Arch.

It is a very beautiful Masonic body nonetheless.
