There IS something in the air. But most Americans want to play games, go shopping, watch American Idol, and sleep.

rips off the Beatles in a good way.

@cleaverzl Perhaps that's because progressives are not known for having a lot of money, and the ones who do are advocating for the ones who don't. Things are changing radically. Occupy will be back in full force in the spring and they have many friends in high places. Democrats think for themselves, thus the varied positions our politicians take. We do not go in lock-step with our party leaders. The republican party is in total disarray, desperate because they have no new ideas to run on.

Occupy Movement 2011.........student protests in the 60's....this song can be an anthem for both....

@stewgotz1 The Occupy movement is in it's infancy. In 1962 anti war protesters were sparse in number & the protesters were pelted with rotten fruit & garbage, but because of the draft waking us up, we grew. Fast forward 10 years & you had FRED HAMPTON, ELDRIDGE CLEAVER, HEWEY NEWTON, MARK RUDD, MARIO SAVIO, ABBIE HOFFMAN, WILLIAM KUNTSLER,BILL AYERS, JERRY RUBIN, etc.
Only time will tell if this current generation of Americans can unify & continue the revolution.

I used to be a political conservative and ardent supporter of the Vietnam War until I heard this song in high school. Then came Bloody Sunday in Belfast, Occupied Ireland, and the shootings at Kent State University in Ohio. Since then, I have been a left wing radical. BTW, I can't stand liberal democrats.

@004burke I agree.Liberal democrats talk a good game, but they never put their money where their mouth is, they lean too far to the right, & there never there when it comes to a fight.
Democrats "....support the left, but they're leanin', leanin', leanin' to the right"
