I have seen people get $500 checks every month (and they have around 30 000 subscribers , I know that earnings are based on advert clicks not subscibers or views but still if subscribers go up one can expect earnings go up as well).

You cannot live on $500/month, but it is better than nothing!

LOL People think partners are all getting rich... In reality, only the ones who get hundreds of thousands of views regularly are the ones making any decent money.

You have to accumulate a minimum of $100.00 in earnings before they even cut you a paycheck... It was five months before I got my first paycheck. Of course it's still nice to make a little bit for my efforts, it just isn't the gravy train people seem to think it is.

I have seen you tubers which have about 3 million upload views altogether and they are showing like $2000-$3000 cheques every month.

That you means you would be on something like $800-$900 /month. A lot more than $170/month.
