MICHAEL R. COFFMAN CANNOT DIE IN PRISON ~ SAVE OUR FAMILIES

This is my effort to bring recognition to my brother and the thousands of others who are being held for minor roles they played in federal cases. There is no doubt that my brother needed to be separated from what was destroying him, but not for the rest of his life. His girlfriend at the time was the one who had been under federal investigation and when she was finally apprehended and looking at many years, she was given the opportunity to do what they call cooperate. The six part documentary explains how the Mandatory Minimum laws are backfiring on us. The ones who deserve the sentences get off while the small role players do the time. My brother never had a violent or weapons charge and has been sentenced to LIFE in prison. Some murderers don't get that much time. There are literally thousands of people being held for many years...I know there is a better way than to forget the face of a man or woman.
