DUNE Siege on Vranghorn

Sunday September 13th 2009 Lys Noir sieges Vranghorn in dwarven lands. Hammer time arrive before lys noir at the hamlet to secure it for their shard holder to set the challenge. Hammer Time is then tasked with defending the mountain north of the hamlet. For 3 hours Hammer time holds the hamlet only have one attempt from Boians to take the hill. The Boians forced was sized to be 8 strong against Hammer Time's 15, The boians force is routed after a couple casualties, Hammer time losing 3 in the fighting. There is no attempt for 30 minutes when finally an group of around 10 Boians assault the hill from the east. Hammer TIme and Lys Noir forces are now 23 strong on the mountain and move to hold them off. After 5 minutes of constant returning fire the 10 Boians rush to the hamlet (south of the force). At that moment our scout announces that 20 Crimson skulls have flanked us on the mountain and now hold the high ground. Taking Boians pushes up the hill and Crimson skulls push down, pincering our group. 5 Hammer Time and 4 Lys Noir rout west then rally north of the hamlet for the main force to arrive. The majority of the hamlet defence force is chased and killed south of the hamlet. After 30 minutes 5 Hammer time regroup with 5 lys noir at the chaos stone east of the hamlet, soon joined by another 10 hammer time and the hamlet becomes vulnerable while we wait there for the main force. Boian scouts spot Hammer Time and Lys noir at the chaos stone and we retreat to avoid engaging a larger force than our own before the main force arrives. After 2 skirmishes with the reds Lys Noir leads the way to the mountain east of The hamlet where we meet the main force.....

That is everything that happens with the siege prior to the video, which i did not record and i regret not doing so. Once the main force arrived we took the hamlet in a matter of 15 minutes.
