New bands were given the opportunity to record music in Studio 4 of the BBC's Maida Vale complex. These were known as the John Peel Sessions, and later broadcast on his show. Bands would normally record 4 tracks. All recording and mixing took place in one day.

  • the bass from start....is like god landed on earth

  • When people bad mouth Phil Collins they don't know this side of the man. Phil with all your money go in the studio with your old Brand X mates and have some fun like this. Your best drumming ever.

  • yeah I GIVE IT TEN THUMBS UP!!!

  • This shit is downright fucking amazing. The chemistry between these guys is incalculable. Imagine them getting this abstract masterpiece in just one take right at the beginning of their tenure together!

  • They are the top jazz rock band on the systematic side.
