Response movie #2: Response Movie: Re: Bill Oreilly Interviews Michael Savage 9/12/2003 Part 2 of 2

This is a video response to:
mrcf114s movie: Michael Savage in the No Spine Zone with Bill O'Reilly
-and-
drsnks movie: Bill Oreilly Interviews Michael Savage 9/12/2003

I provide my critique and analysis of talk show hosts Bill O'reilly interviewing Michael Savage, Michael Savage interviewing Bill O'reilly. Their should be
level playing field here. They might as well be interviewing each other, they both have intellectual, unique perspectives.

I happen to like Bill O'reilly and a lot of what he says intellectually, I am also a fan of his, on TV and radio, same for Michael Savage, but I find Bill O'reilly's conduct here to be substandard, unfair, and somewhat narcissitic.

I may sound like I was mumbling because I was in pain - when I made these last 4 movies, the pain was affecting my ability to talk straight. I had hit my thumb on my car door.

How effective you convey your messages and points:

100% face to face = you see their face, mannerisms, sound and tone of their voice, persona, body language, if they happy, sad.

50% telephone/teletalk = you hear them, hear their sound and tone, but that is all.

10% typing/e-mail/text message/instant messenger (typing only) = you don't know any of the above, you see words, you don't know the tone of the words, or how it sounds, most ineffective/backwards way to communicate. It is very slow and time consuming. And you get ignored a lot.

To reply/have ur 2 cents. Make a movie, i.e. mp4, avi, add as a response. I will post all, regardless if negative/positive. Don't have webcam or camcorder? Get one. Webcams can be low as $10.

If u want to talk to me, invite me to friends, send a cell/work/home #. I will call u back.

"email, instant messenger and typing inpersonalizes effective communication between people. You do not see there face, you do not know there mannerisms, the sound or tone of there voice. It is substandard communication, and the anonymity of the internet and email has virtually made it impossible for old fashioned personalized effective communication." "It is not the greatest thing since sliced bread." - cerebral01

"Examine what is said, not who speaks" - Arabian Proverb

"You can get 45 people with 25 different opinions, and they all think they are right. Opinion is just that a opinion, not fact" - cerebral01

"My take on email and typing. The biggest problem I see is being ignored. People can be narcissistic, flatulent, arrogant, condescending, aristocratic, or all of the above. There is nothing more wrong than sending someone a communication via e-mail, you are articulate, like to express yourself fully, taking the time to write the e-mail, sending it, expecting a reply, then never getting one." - cerebral01

"You take the time to write a short or long letter, send it via e-mail, its polished, detailed, but concise, and most of all, to the point. You expect an answer, right? Wrong. From my experience, most people tend to ignore all these factors, and ignore you." - cerebral01

"Cons: The anonymity of the internet and email might just lead to total impersonalization of society, Pros: Nothing good about it, although you can send files on it." - cerebral01

"Because email is free, does not make it better." I would rather pay for quality, than quantity." - cerebral01

"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss, American writer And Cartoonist, (March 2, 1904 - September 24, 1991)

"Human history is the sad result of each one looking out for himself." - Julio Cortazar, Novelist and Short-Story Writer, (August 26, 1914 - February 12, 1984)

"One of my primary philosophies on life. I believe in giving equal time to everyone, no matter if they are a homeless person, or a CEO. I ask only to be treated the same. The way I see things is I am never too busy to speak to anyone that needs/requests to talk to me. Learn this & incorporate it into your own life. It is that important. - cerebral01

"None are more unjust in their judgments of others than those who have a high opinion of themselves." - Charles Haddon Spurgeon. Playwright, British Baptist Preacher (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892)
