Has Joe Biden been drinkin?

Joe doesn't drink, he grew up in an Irish family that had tons of alcoholics in it so he stayed away from drinking.
He just can't hear over the crowd like others said.

biden is an idiot, but no, he's not drunk. it's like howard dean's infamous scream - you can't hear anything with a loud crowd. you don't realize how you sound.

It's pretty easy to figure out why he sounds like this -- it's hard for him to hear himself over the crowd (hence the seemingly unnecessary loudness), but we're hearing the sound directly from his microphone, so it sounds weird without the crowd.

In other words, he would sound perfectly normal if you'd been there in person. The microphone thing was also the phenomenon responsible for the "Dean Scream" a while back...
