This version is even better than the interpretation of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau!!! And I love Dietrich... So you can figure how much do I love this version. Thanks for posting this up!

I like Peter Shea's performance better than Fischer-Diskau's.The purity and simplicity of his singing is perfect for these songs.

I must also compliment your lovely tenor. The wonderfull mix that you have suits this part so well. It was fantastic listening to. I found it because Im singing this in some months. if I could just be as good you, there should be no problems :-)



Bravo! What a beautifully lyric performance of Beethoven's little cycle. The light tenor vocal quality and the timbre of the fortepiano are a perfect complement. I wish we could see the singer's face... the lighting is rather dim.

Thanks! FYI the lighting was deliberately lowered because it was feared the heat from the spotlights would put the fortepiano out of tune for the concerto that followed (Beethoven #4)
