Jean Simmons in "Hotel" (TV, 1985)

Jean made her second appearance in the series "Hotel" as part of the "Hearts and Minds" episode (11/21/85). Her character in this episode, Jessica Daniels, is a celebrated actress who is losing her grip. Gail Fisher plays her personal assistant and friend. Terence McGovern plays the interviewer. Bud Davis plays Jim, the bar pick-up she confuses with her ex-husband, Sal. Julia Duffy and Boyd Gaines provide the comic relief in the other plot featured in middle of this clip. References to "the Kubrick film" and "that picture you did with Brando" are fun, and later in the episode they actually used a clip from "Elmer Gantry" as part of a retrospective for Ms. Daniels.
