First Ever TLC Match Part 1

On October 17, 1999 at No Mercy, wwe held the fisrt ever tag team ladder match with the winner of this match recieving $100,000 and the manager services of Terri Runnels. The match was contested between edge and christian and the hardy boys which at that time were known as the new brood faction with gangrel. The match ended with the hardys winning and with the audience giving a standing up ovation to all four wrestlers. This move by wwe catapulted these two teams to the top of the tag team division. The months following had the hardy boys compete in a tag team tables match with the same succes. So now thier was the hardys who were good with ladders, the dudleys who mastered the tables and edge and christain with the chairs.Fastfowarding to wrestlemania 2000, The hardys, the dudleys and edge&christian were put into a triple tag team triangle ladder match. In this match tables, ladders, and chairs were heavily favoured and any chance these guys got to they used them. Then edge and christian were complaining one night o everyone that would listen because of attacks from the dudleys and the hardys. Mick foley came out and told them they would be in a match at summerslam against the hardys and the dudleys. The match was going to be the first ever Tables, Ladders, and chairs. With all the hype for weeks leading up to summerslam. The night finally came. Live in raleigh, north carolina with 18 120 fans on hand.
The hardys the dudleys and edge&christian would compete in the first ever TLC match on August, 27, 2000 at summerslam.
