Hi res version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZN-6Do_rFwc&fmt=18

One of the winners of Chazz's 2nd annual LF emulation contest, Kenshin891, chose to have a WS4000 out of Cleveland, Ohio with John Tesh's "A Thousand Summers" as it aired in 1990/1991 on The Weather Channel.

Also the debut of a new The Weather Chazz id in the 1990 TWC Style.

Enjoy!

  • This is awesome! Thank You!!

BTW, don't mean to nitpick, but I've never heard of'show showers' before...

    5/5

  • lol... i was typing pretty fast... my brain was on the word showers when i was spelling snow i guess. but, my typing is still one thousand times better than the NWS's before they had spell check sometime earlier this decade. forecasts used to be misspelled all the time.

  • I'm curious, but how do you get all of that TWC Teaser Music without narration?

  • recordings from television. every now and then you'd catch a promo with the music without narration.

  • Simply awesome!

  • OK. I was born around the time this era ended, so I wouldn't know without seeing videos. :)

  • I especially like the fact that you "show showers" in your forecasts.

  • LOL, I wonder what that would be like? Maybe a dust bowl with thunder? :)

  • He started using it in his emulation for WSIII/GVK9R

  • I remember stuff like that. I know I saw 'shower sand thunderstorms' a few times..
