I will not respond to private messages in this subject. To be a christian as fundamentalist as you are, you have to ignore blatant fact, you have to ignore absence of proof, you have to "read" in stories that which is just not there, you have to believe everything without question or reason. You have to believe lies, "make things up as you go along, and "paste over" the blatant faults of god, like ethnic cleansing, child murder, lies and duplicity. you have a different bible, or different brain

I like this video very much; don't respond to all of the negative comments. We will all receive our just reward one day!!!

He sent His Word... It is health to all our flesh

Hi: Where are you???

Millions of Christians regularly testify
to God's protection and healing power.
Why don't the insurance and health statistics
show a lower rate of illness, injury, and death
for believers as opposed to unbelievers?
Why is that?

Wow, God really does want to heal disease afterall. So your point is that God is just incompetent rather than malevolent. These scriptures pale in comparison to the atrocities that God commits elsewhere in the bible.
If you think he is not incompetent, then surely you wouldn't hesitate to drink some drano mixed with pesticide and broken glass shards, eh? Unless you don't have enough faith, haha. Nice try though, psych.

A wonderful story, that one. Where was God's mercy for the babies and young children of Jericho, too young to have been as wicked as the Bible says the rest of Jericho was. And what of the animals of Jericho? Did God judge them as wicked, too?
Here's the problem with your example of Rahab. In hiding the spies, Rahab became an accomplice in the murder of an entire city of all life, and for this she was rewarded.
Is that God's mercy? And you're right, Rahab's lie was the lesser of her two evils.
This is a response to Atheists are immoral.
Your video is full of flawed logic. For instance, you say that telling a lie makes you a liar. Does that also mean getting naked (such as before taking a shower or bath) makes you a nudist?
The truth is you're clinging so hard to falsehoods, that you can't see that the things your religion claims it does for you are also provided by all other religions or can be achieved through secular means. Try to remove the blindfold someday.

Yes, lieing makes you a liar. There are some things that the Bible defines as sin if done one time, and other things are only sin if done in a wrong circumstance or way. Like the example you gave. To take a shower is ok. But to walk done the street that way is then defined as wrong.
Lieing is sin no matter where you do it.
Other religions don't have a way to forgive sins through a perfect sacrifice.

I'm going to have to disagree.
Let's say you were housing refugees in your attic. One night, someone knocks on your door and asks if you are hiding refugees, because they've come to execute them. Would you lie or tell the truth then? And if you lie in that situation, was it wrong to do so? Finally, if you chose to lie to the people hunting down the refugees, are you a liar?

hgryphon,
That story is covered in the Bible in the story of Rahab who hid the spies in her house when the men came to catch and prosecute them. She lied and saved them and God spared her from judgment of the city b/c of it.
In this case it's the issue of greater or lesser evil. Is it still wrong? I believe it is, but it's less wrong than giving those people up to be killed. God can have mercy in such situations. You can repent and ask forgiveness of lieing in such a case.

Very cool, but Mark 16:17-18 is not in the earliest bible manuscripts. Lets not add to the word of God.

Mark is in the majority of Greek Texts with the Textus Receptus which are considered more reliable than other manuscripts. Plus, it wouldn't make sense to leave it out. It completes the thoughts of the chapter and book much like the other gospel writers do.
