Joey L. Dowdy's World Dance Groove Contemporary Dance "Rage & Rise" Domestic Violence No-Tolerance is a special Tribute dedicated to his mother who he credits for one day finding her voice, and the courage to leave her abusive situation. She was then able to create a new life for herself and her children.

Joey replies, Today I see that her actions and act of faith have instilled in me a realization that I too can achieve my deepest desires, if I just keep moving and get a good plan.

You see, these videos are important because they're dance/movement based adaptations of situations that dig deep inside to reveal the physical and emotional (the good, bad & ugly) side that words sometime can't express. I feel so blessed that I am able dedicate this work, and use my life experiences and choreographic skills, in helping to Break The Silence by speaking out, which is what makes the difference.

I read in US Magazine that "MARY MURPHY" ( Judge on "So You Think You Can Dance") went through an abusive marriage before she got the position on the show, and how "DANCE" possibly saved her life. I HOPE SEES THIS PIECE 1:35 is AMAZING, purely an amazing lift, and the interaction between the couple. The I want to be with you, but I can't simulated dance movements. Very Strong#
