okay so i did exactly what you did and used everything you did but i used it on a duncan freehand and to one side and it is SUPER responsive!!!
i thought it would be UNRESPONSIVE :(
any help?

good question. Inspect the silicone job carefully, make sure there is no overflow. Make sure you didn't get any in the baring seat. Also, normally it takes about a day or 2 to break in a freshly siliconed yoyo. If you just keep playing with it, I'm sure it will break in and be unresponsive.
