I think I saw that!
Same night, around the same time!
Except I'm in Edmonton. I was looking west-south-west and it was to the left of the big dipper.

g.bmp check out the drawing I made of it. I reported it to MUFON for that day, so do a search of reports.
It moved in a zig-zag pattern and then faded out as if it were moving up and away from me.
The frame rate is really low on the recording and is not steady so assume it's an Iridium flare without knowing the specifics. Looks like a lot of light pollution in your recording, an Iridium flare would come out of "nowhere" and stay bright as it passed across the sky depending on the viewpoint of the observer. The space station also can appear like this too, I watched it fly over Denver on July 19th at 3:45am. Was a very bright skyline light for several minutes. Heavens-above is your friend.

I agree, this is possibly a satellite.

It is probably Saturn

You obviously didn't look at the whole video. Saturn doesn't appear out of nowhere, move and then disappear

a shooting star that goes up? and why did you happen to be filming that patch of sky in the first place?

I was filming that patch of sky because I was making sure the camcorder was working (making sure star in focus etc...-hence the focus on the star/planet). I got lucky and something appeared. I filmed similar objects that night, but none as convincing as they could be explained away as satellites.
