Here in London Ontario Canada the College Workers went on strike at Fanshaw and the college paid for lawyers for scabs to sue the union for kicking them out.

Non-unionized workers must realize that their workers rights were won by unions; the only power to preserve them is economic: strikes

Us union folks should organize to block profitable plant closure to stop outsourcing of even non-union jobs, and non-union folks help stop anti-labor laws cause they'll drop all wages if no one can strike.

so true.....this lesson can be learned by the SCABS that now currently work at Northwest Airlines, now that NWA busted the mechanic union, they are no longer represented, and it surely shows....the company gets away with what ever they feel like doing. Thanks is due to the SCABS!

The company will try to sell decertification by offering employees a better deal than what the union would offer them and in the short run they do but once the union is out of sight they screw them. Frito Ly did this. One of the first steps to getting rid of a union is to get out of any multi employer agreement such as the Teamsters pension plan etc. Any one who thinks decertification with OHFL after this is a fool.

The latest game that the OHFL is playing, is working the employees into "decertification" of the Teamsters Union. I have chatted with people on and off over the years who got rid of a Union, and none ever said they were glad they did it.
