@AboveWaterAquarium hey, if the pond freezes, doe sthe fish die??

Nice job... I made something similar last week from an old hexagon shaped 5 gallon aquarium. (see in my videos). The fish are going in it quite often, even though I am not feeding them this week, because the water is still too cold. I was wondering can they actually see what is outside the glass?

@AboveWaterAquarium oh right, thats really good then. normally they would crack if glass but didnt know they was plastic.

Hmmm. I'm interested!
How much?

@lildutchee - Depends on the size you are interested in. The one I show in the video is 10" tall, 20" long and 8" wide and is $160. With integrated fill tube option it is $180. I can also include a manual double acting fill pump and a cleaning kit and various decorative outter "skin" options.

Hi, I am interested in one of these for my pond. I was thinking of just using a normal glass aquarium..... But is this a "safe" idea??
Where would I be able to find a plastic one?

@lildutchee
Glass is bad in a pond. Too many variables that will cause the glass to break. I have these made locally here out of acrylic which is chemically welded to the shapes I specify. I can arrange to sell them on Ebay.

in the winter they freeze and if not taken out will crack
SaucyBegger25 11 months ago
@SaucyBegger25 - Actually I have two Winter versions I use in place of these, and surprisingly, they do not crack, even when frozen 100%. They are just plastic. I was just noticing today (3/10) how the water level is only down about 1.5" after all winter. I will replace with the higher quality Acrylic version in about two weeks.
