Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.

Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film The Last Airbender is the opening chapter in Aangs struggle to survive.

@tarahleemorgan They are all based on different martial arts. Tai Chi is what Waterbending is based on, Ba Gua is what Airbending is based on, Hung Gar style of Kung Fu is the basis of Earthbending (while Toph's is based on Southern Praying Mantis Kung Fu), and Northern Shaolin (and some Northern Seven Star Praying Mantis moves are used as well) is the basis of Firebending.

@B2utiful23 Except, you know... everything about it. This movie is a live action adaption meaning it is expected to be as true as possible to the series like any book to movie would be held to. Not to mention even when not comparing it to the series it still falls flat with bad acting, to much narration, laughable dialogue, frivolous changes ( likes names ) and seemingly no direction.
