If anyone thinks they are a hardcore Biffy fan, shouldn't they love all Biffy songs regardless of when they were made or what album they are on?

@maverick707630 I'd rather people don't act like that. If everyone acted in that way with regards to everything in the world, everything in the world would be shit.

You shouldn't love all biffy songs because they're Biffy songs, but because they're good songs. When you throw in a little personal preference and a little bit of Biffy changing over the years, it's understandable that some people can be obsessive over one era and not so into another.

@TheTvrulesthenation This song has existed for a while, known as either "Help me Become Captain" or "Angels Fall".

The captain has also existed for a while (although, without trumpets!), and used to be known as "Captain, Sir..."

One was never really an early version of the other, rather they were two sides of one coin.

There is no old or new biffy, they said from the start theyd change their sound from album to album, they've always been the same.

@yupitsNeil I get where you're coming from, but that makes no sense. You're saying because they said they'd change their sound with each album, that they havn't changed?

Saying you're going to change doesn't mean you won't change. Strangely, infact, it means you WILL change! Some people rate the older stuff more, some people rate the newer stuff more. If you like everything equally then that's fine, but your opinions don't make the opinions of other people wrong.

it doesnt make sense that people would love the old stuff but hate the new stuff. the old stuff is this new stuff without any appealing note structure really. they had glimpses of catchy interesting riffs but alot of it was experimental rock sounding and sounded like they werent even where they really wanted to be artistically until puzzle it seems they found a perfect balance to be able to play their old complicated stuff but make it more easy to listen to. how can anyone hate this?

@Enema27 I didn't exactly mean every song but some people who claim they are "hardcore" fans won't even touch Only Revaloutions because they think it's too commercial for the band. Which I find ridiculous.
