unless you're lucky enough to find one in arcade, they have console versions released currently on PS2. The controllers can either be home made, bought from konami themselves, ransai, or desktop arcade. They also have a pop'n portable on PSP, though you don't get a controller for that and imo not as fun as the actual CS/ Arcade version itself.

pop'n music, guitar hero has nothing on this except a horrible track-list and less buttons. But in all seriousness the difficulty level in all the Bemani games exceeds anything we ever see in the US. I'm sure you've heard how GH is a ripoff of Guitar Freaks too but oh well, when they make shit like this that never leaves their country we have to make half-assed ripoffs to enjoy games like these, or spend a fuckload of cash importing them : /

And some games, if we're lucky, someone translates it into English and releases it. Cause I feel it's hard to play a game when I can't read the enu. Like Super Bomberman 5. "Oh just learn Japanese." I'm too lazy. :3

All these games really aren't horridly hard to translate, IIDX (which is basically the same as this minus 2 buttons and add 1 turntable) and this game both feature menu's which are all in english, only some song titles are in characters that I have no idea either lol. Yea, the song is called ƒƒƒƒƒ too.
