@SaXlessTillNow ~This reminded me of Minnie Riperton when I first saw the title. I knew Stevie loved her high voice. Also Minnie Riperton used to wear flowers and Babies' Breath in her hair all the time. I also think she died in 1979.

Has anyone heard Yahzarah's cover of this song? It's just as good!! Listen to it on her new album "The Ballad of Purple Saint James".

Another gorgeous tune I loved from this album.

I don't like this, I love this. Must have been 11 or so when I first heard this. I hope they play this when I die!

Reminiscent angelic voice of Minnie Ripperton. Syreeta thank you and Stevie for this unique melody. May all of the blessings of the Divine rain on both of you. Love!!

I've been in love with this album (and Songs in the Key of Life, which I know by heart) since I was a child. I think Syreeta has the most angelic voice - perfect for this song.

Ont the field in fron of my home, in front of your homes, or somwhere else she came back as a flower, to spread the sweatness

The purity of her voice is amazing on vinyl, analog or DVD...I used to play this song over and over when I was young and now on all three modes...the sparseness of this song with the piano, the percussion and the natural sounds are so amazing...close your eyes and you can be transported anywhere you wish in tranquility, love and serenity...
listen to stevie and you will have a stable mind to deal with most worries in life....great lyrics too all songs.............just love this album...............

exit284 that's a very profound perspective of this song..."to spread the sweetness of love" Stevie + Syreeta = Beauty.
