Meher Baba was personally celibate and not gay. He advocated against bigotry and hatred in all its forms. He set the example of love for one and all as this film shows. He did not concern himself to collect followers although many would follow him. His mission was to lead others to the highest consciousness of the Godhood which he himself enjoyed. He declared that he was the Avatar in this Age. He explained that God alone is real all else is just illusion.
