  • Quite a nice performance. It looked that you were about to play an encore or another piece after the Beethoven. I have seen many pianists perform Op 111 live, including Brendel, Serkin and Claudio Arrau and none of them ever have played anything after Op 111, so as not to spoil the sublime mood created by this piece. It seems to be almost an unspoken tradition out of respect of Beethoven's genius. Any thoughts on this? Again, a beautiful performance.

  • i spoiled it. i played the liebestod (also posted) and then gaspard afterwards.

  • Stop saying "Nice"!! This is yet another very great performance.

  • I don't care about the slight differences in tempo between variations. To me, the important is that you actually communicated with the audience. It is VERY difficult to sustain interest in this movement. People tend to wander off and daydream. LOL But you kept us riveted on this movement and wouldn;t let go of us. Truly amazing!

  • Beautifully done! Bravo...
