@jujuUK68. Sorry to persist, the guitar is an Arbiter Les Paul junior. He stripped the paint off it himself. He told me!

@robertgrundy Sorry, I'ts almost certainly his Gordon Smith GS1 he's playing, not an "Arbeiter Les Paul Copy". Gordon Smith is a small, virtually one man business, based near Manchester, who hand builds (he doesn't claim hand made, despite the fact thats virtually what they are). The pickup would be I guess, logically. a Gordon Smith pickup. Fairly flat necks, and bodies shaped on a les paul junior shape. 1 3/4 thick bodies of whatever wood is available and a simple wraparound bridge.

I so wish he was still like this - instead of the politician that he's turned into!

Thanks for posting! Completely forgot about this gem of a song

there just aren't any singer songwriters like billy anymore.

The guitar is an Arbiter Les Paul copy ( I think!). This one only has a bridge pick up, a single coil pick up is your best bet, a cheap telecaster copy would work fine. Billy used to use a Roland cube 60 amp, just turn it all the way up and you're away! The double stop playing style works really well. The classic BB guitar is a Burns Steer in green sunburst.

thank you

it looks like a gibson les paul jr. with the paint stripped off. I could be wrong though.
Billy also plays "Burns" guitars. But that does not look like one.

I don't know if you'll even read this again, but the fact that you use the word "fag" pretty much discredits any point you have made. You should never express your view on racial intergration if you can't get beyond your own hatred. Educate yourself. There's no harm in it.
