The Real World: Camp Rock Edition 8

Shane: *sets his bag on the bed and starts to unpack* so... I’m really sorry about earlier. I know I seemed like a creeper but-
Mitchie: *starts unpacking as well* I know why. Nate told me.
Shane: *nods* I had a feeling but I just miss her-
Mitchie: which one?
Shane: *looks at her with tears in his eyes* Penny…*trys to restrain a sob*
Mitchie: *deciding if it would be wrong to hug him or not**awkwardly wraps her arms around his waist*
Shane: *instantly returns the hug as he starts crying* (A.N. aw… poor Shane)
Mitchie: *pats his back as comfortingly as she can* it’s okay.
Shane: *sniffles**pulls away with a sad laugh* man I miss her. You remind me of her. I don’t know why though.
Mitchie: how?
Shane: I don’t know. Maybe it’s just because Elvis greeted you like that. He did that to her and he doesn’t greet everyone like that.
Mitchie: Can I ask why you did that to me… all the touching me?
Shane: like I said you remind me of her and I thought you might have it. *eyes suddenly go bright when an idea pops up in his head* you don’t have it do you?
Mitchie: no. I don’t think so.
Shane: *breathes a small sigh of relief * good. That would be bad.
Mitchie: *smiles a bit* you’re not so bad.
Shane: *jokingly* gee thanks.
Mitchie: *finishes unpacking and puts her bathroom supplies in the adjoined bathroom* well I guess I’ll start dinner.
Shane: what are you making?
Mitchie: *shrugs* don’t know. I’ll see what we have.
Shane: okay. I’ll be here if you need me. *continues unpacking*
Mitchie: *goes down to the kitchen and starts looking through cupboards*

*half hour later*

Caitlyn: *comes into the hall* what’s that smell?
Jason: I don’t know but it smells really good.
Gang: *go downstairs to the kitchen to see Mitchie setting the kitchen table*
Mitchie: *looks up and smiles* hey. Hope you don’t mind that I cooked.
Tess: I can’t cook so I think that’s better.
Caitlyn: same for me and I’m pretty sure they *gestures to Connect 3* don’t either.
Jason: *happily* nope! What did you make?
Mitchie: I made chicken and rice.
Caitlyn: it looks delicious. *smiles*
Jason: you hurt a birdie?
Nate: *goes wide eyed* no Jason. Please just try it. You might like it.
Shane: *whispers to the girls* guy is a bird lover. He won’t eat any kind of bird. Not even on thanksgiving. He has to have ham.
Mitchie: I’m sorry. I didn’t know.
Shane: it’s not your fault.
Nate: *come how persuades Jason to try a piece*
Jason: *takes a bite* this is actually pretty good. *gets a piece of chicken and starts eating eat*
Mitchie: *smiles* thanks Jason. What do you guys want to drink? *starts getting glasses*
Tess: Mitchie, you’ve done enough for us already. Let us get you a drink. *takes the glasses from her*
Mitchie: guys it’s alright.
Shane: Tess is right Mitchie. You cooked for us, now let us do something for you. What do you want to drink?
Mitchie: *sees she’s out numbered so sighs in defeat* water is fine.
Shane: *gets a cup from Tess* do you want ice?
Mitchie: sure. *Takes cup when Shane hands it to her* thank you.
Tess: *gets everyone their drinks*
*they all sit down and start to eat*
