easy climb up the honiton incline, re-living the atlantic coast express in true style and power, yes its a 10 minute vid of 70013 leaving axminster and attacking the harsh incline for a 11 coach loaded steam train 1 in 74 7 mile climb to the honiton tunnel which is shown at the end of the clip,
at 2m 20s u will see seaton junction station which is still very intact!
hope u enjoy it...
lots hedges but in the old br steam days there was no overgrowth...

  • i was on the train, we did a great easy climb up the bank and stormed it through seaton junction ready for the climb,

    i spoke to the driver at exeter and he said she started to slip inside the tunnel but he recovered ok then its downhill to honiton,

    is that the old inlcine signal box on the left? cheers
