What some people don't get is that Facebook is supposed to be for communicating with friends, not some website that gathers everyones information. It's just creepy. I understand anyone can find anything on the Internet, but why create a social site just to do so? People need to get lives if they are feeding off of others, AKA Facebook

You show me the law under US Code where it says FB can't share you information. BY law if you sign an agreement to allow the sharing of personal info, then they can. In regards to the High School using webcams to spy on students; the reason it is winning the battle is because it is in question whether or not they were spying on students. The school claims that they were not. Please include all of the facts when you bring up a controversial topic.

It's not a question of if they where. We know they used the cams outside of the stated purpose, as proven by them. For punishing a student of "improper behavior in his home" where schools have no jurisdiction nor right to.

It is not controversial, it's very clear cut. The school has invaded the privacy of students and their parents. Activating a webcam without a persons knowledge is invasion of privacy, and stating students signed a ToS or any agreement is null because they are underage.
