What dont people read Karl Marx? He has amazing insight and one of the best critiques of capitalism... His Base and Superstructure theory is amazing and puts into context many contemporary issues. I bet most Americans who attack Marxism haven't even read a page, nor would be able to understand. Critique Marx as an intellectual not as an ignorant redneck Beck fan.

This is sad. Marxism is a world without private property, but no control on social freedoms unlike Absolute Monarchies. Socialism is a world with limited private property, and some control on social freedoms. Obama is a Democrat or just slightly left of center. Calling Obama a socialist or a Marxist is just as stupid as calling Mitt Romney a corporatist or a Fascist.
