Indian Magazine Editor attacks Australians 'racist country' then won't admit he said it - Lateline

Leah Sales asks 'do Indians really believe that Australians hate them?' he replies 'Your definition is your problem, definition is not our problem.' Why then does he publish articles with headlines about racism?

He says the attacks on Indian students must stop. Based on his statistics, the increase is clear. Quote, 'I understand that these attacks are in a very small part of Melbourne. I am amazed and surprised that the Australian Government and the Australian police can't stop these attacks, or unless of course there is a political agenda here behind letting these attacks go on.'. The fact is the places where the attacks occur- the north and west- are notorious for being the scummier parts of Melbourne. If the Victorian government had unlimited resources, sure, place a police officer on every corner. But the best defence is to NOT go walking through parks at night. Try to avoid being at train stations at night (there are other modes of transport- trams etc). And statistics tell me India is a far more dangerous place for Indians to be, than Australia.
